My aim is to help reduce your aches and pains, whether they have come from competitive sport, the occasional jog, digging in the garden or sitting at your desk.

May '17: Are you in pain? Is someone you know in pain? Would you like to understand more about chronic pain and what to do about it?
Watch this 5 minute video by the authors of Explain Pain. It is a simple explanation of the latest research into pain. It shows us that the amount of pain we may be in is not always a good indicator of the level of damage to the body. In fact, as pain persists, the relationship betwen pain (hurt) and damage to the body (harm) becomes less and less reliable. In these cases of chronic pain, there is less likely to be a specific problem with a muscle or a joint and more likely to be increased sensitivity of the alarm system within the body and brain.
